Cambodia Sees Valuable Gain from Joint Kun L'bokator-Shaolin Performances
AKP Phnom Penh, February 28, 2025--
The recent joint martial arts performances (Cambodia's Kun L'bokator or Bokator and Shaolin Kung Fu of China) to bridge the Cambodia-China People-to-People Exchange Year 2024 to 2025 enrich the value of the arts.
Mr. Ou Dara, Deputy Secretary General of the Bokator Federation of Cambodia (BFC), emphasised the impression, adding that it will further build Cambodia's reputation internationally.
Kun L'bokator, a big part of Cambodia's culture, was listed as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO, said the deputy secretary general.
The joint performances brought to light the richness of Cambodian culture and will make the Kun L'bokator known broadly as China's Kung Fu in the long run.
The event also reflected the long-lasting relations of the two countries, contributing to advancing the ties of friendship, solidarity, and cooperation in all sectors, particularly culture and tourism, he continued.
