Samdech Techo Hun Sen: Senate Not to Interfere in the Executive Body’s Affairs

Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has reaffirmed that the Senate, a part of the legislative branch, will not interfere in the affairs of the executive body.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen made the statement when he presided over the inauguration ceremony of a school building and other achievements in Preah Ind Samaky Dham pagoda, in Trapaing Krapeu village, Kraing Makak commune, Ang Snuol district, Kandal province this morning, in response to a request for teacher recruitment at Buddhism schools.
“Now, I don’t have the right to decide. What I can do is providing recommendations,” he underlined.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen thus conveyed the request to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, as well as the Ministry of Civil Services, especially the Royal Government to make a decision.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen said the Royal Government has been conducting a deep reform on the process of new staff recruitment to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of public administration.
