Cambodia Attends Anti-Drug Cooperation Conference in Japan
AKP Phnom Penh, January 31, 2025 --
Cambodia has attended the 27th Asia-Pacific Anti-Drug Cooperation Conference and related meetings on drug law enforcement in Japan.
The meeting took place on Jan. 28-29 in Tokyo, with the participation of police agencies from 32 countries.
Representatives from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation (EUROPOL), and the International Criminal Police (ICPO) also joined the gathering.
The Cambodian delegation was led by H.E. Major Gen. Khon Darasambath, Deputy Secretary General of the Secretariat of the National Authority for Combating Drugs (NACD).
The conference aimed to review and enhance cooperation among participating countries in preventing and cracking down on drugs in the Asia-Pacific region and other regions worldwide.
