The First Vice President of the Cambodian Mine Action Authority (CMAA) has highly valued China's long-standing contribution to Cambodia’s demining activities.

Senior Minister H.E. Ly Thuch shared the remarks in a meeting with H.E. Wang Wenbin, Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, at the Chinese embassy in Phnom Penh on Jan. 9.

The contribution includes financial and material support as well as technical capacity building since 2015, he said.

H.E. Wang Wenbin congratulated Cambodia's achievements in landmine clearance and reaffirmed China's commitment to continue supporting the humanitarian activity.

He was also pleased to have learned that CMAA is also supported by Chinese civil society organisations and the private sector.
