Chinese Firms Looking to Expand Businesses in Aviation Sector to Cambodia

Chinese firms - Heli-Eastern and Amber Aviation Limited - have expressed their interests in expanding their businesses and strengthening cooperation in ASEAN, including Cambodia.
The information was revealed during a recent visit by Mr. Lao Nguon Eng, Commercial Attaché at the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Cambodia, to the two companies in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, People’s Republic of China, according to a statement from the Ministry of Commerce issued on Jan. 9.
Heli-Eastern produces and delivers various types of drones in China, including those used for urban transport and agriculture. It also provides urban air services in the Greater Bay Area (Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area).
Amber Aviation Limited provides aviation services using its private jets to transport passengers within ASEAN and has been strengthening cooperation with ASEAN member states, including Cambodia.
Both companies expressed their intention to expand their businesses in Cambodia, especially in private flight services, and strengthen their close cooperation with the country.
