Cambodia, China Pledge Joint Cybercrime Prevention

Cambodia and China are committed to jointly preventing cybercrime to attract more foreign investors and visitors to Preah Sihanouk province.
The commitment was made in a meeting between Governor of Preah Sihanouk province H.E. Mang Sinet and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Wang Wenbin in Preah Sihanouk province early this week.
H.E. Wang Wenbin spoke highly of the rapid development of Preah Sihanouk province, particularly the development of infrastructures, economy, and tourism.
The Chinese ambassador underlined the long-lasting relations and collaboration between the two countries, adding that China has consulates in the provinces of Preah Sihanouk and Siem Reap and a strong friendship bound with Preah Sihanouk province.
He pledged to continue comprehensive cooperation between Preah Sihanouk province and China's cities and provinces to promote potential tourism, as well as to contribute to opening industrial and technology gateways and economic corridors that are the engine for quality cooperation between the two nations.
H.E. Mang Sinet welcomed the Chinese delegation's visit to the province and pledged to report H.E. Wand Wenbin's requests for visa exemption for entering Preah Sihanouk province.
