Two Years to Go for SEA Games, ASEAN Para Games 2023 in Cambodia

Counting down, there remain exactly two more years, May 5, 2021 to May 5, 2023, to the SEA Games-ASEAN Para Games 2023 hosted by Cambodia.
The update was shared by H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of the Cambodia SEA Games Organising Committee (CAMSOC), stressing that CAMSOC members are working on respective responsibilities toward a shared direction to successfully host the event.
Cambodia, continued the secretary general, is ready for the upcoming 32nd SEA Games and the 12th ASEAN Para Games in 2023, as the preparation rollout has started since 2016 under the strong leadership of Samdech Pichey Sena Tea Banh, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defence and President of CAMSOC.
The events will be a historic moment for Cambodia, he underlined.
The committee will include between 30 and 35 types of sports for all participating countries to join the upcoming SEA Games 2023.
The 1,000 days countdown to SEA Games-ASEAN Para Games 2023 began from Aug. 7, 2020 to May 5, 2023; while the SEA Games from May 5 to 17, 2023 and the ASEAN Para Games will start following the SEA Games finishes, from June 1 to 10, 2023.
In 2019, Cambodia earned 46 medals including 4 golds, 6 silvers and 30 bronzes from the 30th SEA Games in the Philippines.
