135 Cambodian Athletes to Get Trained in China for SEA Games

Cambodia is sending 135 Cambodian athletes of 12 types of sports to get trained in China for the 2021 SEA Games in Vietnam and the 2023 SEA Games hosted by Cambodia.
The plan was shared by H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of Cambodia SEA Games Organising Committee (CAMSOC), adding that the training will begin in August under the financial support of China.
The training, continued the secretary general, will be essential for the technical improvement and experience exchange among Cambodian and Chinese athletes.
It will also help prepare Cambodian players for the SEA Games in Vietnam, and in late 2021, Cambodian athletes will go for a long training in China for the SEA Games 2023 hosted by Cambodia.
According to H.E. Vath Chamroeun, besides the training in China, the committee will also send Taekwondo athletes to get trained in South Korea, Karate athletes to Japan and Vovinam athletes to Vietnam.
