AKP Phnom Penh, February 23, 2021 --

Cambodia expects to earn medals for its Latin Dance in the upcoming 2021 SEA Games hosted by Vietnam in late 2021.

The optimism was shared with AKP by Mrs. Hang Simorn, Secretary General of Cambodia Dance Sport Federation (CDSF), adding that the federation will send its athletes for 6-pair dance including 6 men and 6 women for the games.

For the dancing competition, continued the CDSF’s secretary general, there will be two categories – Standard Dance and Latin Dance, and each will have 5 subjects.

This will be the second time for Cambodian athletes to attend such a dancing challenge, and the Cambodian athletes are training hard to win the challenge.

By far, CDSF has dispatched athletes to attend many international events such as Indoor Games in Turkmenistan in 2017, Asian Championship in Taiwan in 2018, Asian Championship and Open in Hong Kong in 2018, Singapore Superstar Championship 2019 in 2019, and ADSF Asian Open Latin Dance in Taiwan in 2019.
