National Cycling Championship to Start This Friday

The National Cycling Championship 2020 will start on Jan. 22 in Siem Reap province after some postponement due to COVID-19 crisis.
Addressing in a recent press conference, Mr. Nou Chamroeun, Secretary General of Cambodian Cycling Federation, underlined that the federation is strengthening the quality of the sport by applying a high standard to get ready for the 2023 SEA Games hosted by Cambodia.
The secretary general continued that the two-day competition will attract participation of 319 delegates, coaches, and athletes from 24 clubs and associations across the country.
There will be two subjects in the contest, including 150 kilometres cycling and 43 kilometres mountain biking, and it will fully comply with the safety measures guided by the Ministry of Health to prevent possible spread of COVID-19.
