Cambodia, East Timor Discuss Possible Aviation Cooperation

Cambodia and East Timor have discussed possible cooperation in the civil aviation sector, as part of strengthening the bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
The discussion took place here on Jan. 12 between H.E. Mao Havannall, Minister in charge of State Secretariat of Civil Aviation and H.E. Ermenegildo Kupa Lopes, Ambassador of East Timor to Cambodia.
In the meeting, H.E. Ambassador expressed thanks to the Royal Government and people of Cambodia for donating facemasks and other necessary materials to combat COVID-19 in Timor-Leste.
Timor-Leste wished to seek understanding on the development strategies on civil aviation sector in Cambodia which has seen notable progress, he said.
For his part, H.E. Mao Havannall welcomed H.E. Ermenegildo Kupa Lopes’ intention to learn more about the civil aviation progress in Cambodia and shared with him the Kingdom’s key strategies to develop the sector.
