Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen extended more congratulations to the U19 national football team after defeating the Brunei counterpart yesterday in the AFC U19 Championship 2020 qualifiers.

“Congratulations to Cambodian U19 national football team on beating Brunei DS U19 3-0 in a match at the National Olympic Stadium on Sunday Nov. 10 night,” wrote the Premier on his official Facebook page.

Previously, the Cambodian U19 team won qualifying matches over Northern Mariana Islands 9-0 and Thailand 2-1.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen also thanked his compatriots, especially those who watched the match at the stadium, on TV and sports websites, for their support to the sports sector, and wished more success to the Cambodian football sector.
