Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen sent a congratulatory message to the national football team U19 after beating yesterday Northern Mariana Islands 9-0 in the AFC U-19 Championship 2020 qualifiers.

The Premier extended his congratulations while attending the 35th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in Bangkok, Thailand.  

“Congratulations to Cambodia U19 who is temporarily ranked 2nd in Group G after gaining the first 3 marks after defeating Northern Mariana Islands 9-0 in a match at the National Olympic Stadium on Nov. 4, 2019 night,” said Samdech Techo Hun Sen on his Facebook page.

The Prime Minister also thanked his compatriots, especially those who watched the match at the stadium and on TV, for their support to the sports sector, and wished more success to the Cambodian football sector.

The Northern Mariana Islands is a U.S. commonwealth in the Pacific Ocean.
