Government Approves 10 New Investment Projects
AKP Phnom Penh, December 25, 2018 --
Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has licenced ten new investment project worth almost US$300 million, according to local media report.
Phnom Penh capital alone hosts four of the newly approved projects including, beverages, light bulb, and plastic material manufacturers.
Other investments in the areas like beverages, tent, bag, marble and paper production, and accommodation are based in Takeo, Kampong Chhnang, Battambang and Kandal provinces.
Of the licenced businesses, one provides installation service of high voltage transmission network from Koh Kong province to Phnom Penh.
Based on the endorsed investment project proposals, at least 5,467 workforce will be needed.
