Cambodian Taekwondo Athletes Attending International Competition in Bulgaria

Cambodia has sent 23 athletes and coaches for the 2019 World ITF Taekwondo Championships in Bulgaria.
With high optimism, the Cambodian Taekwondo delegation departed Cambodia yesterday for the challenge.
Minister attached to Prime Minister H.E. Keo Remy, Chairman of Taekwondo Federation of Cambodia who led the delegation to attend the tournament, was confident that Cambodian team will bring success to the country.
To take place from Aug. 24 to 30 in Plovdiv city, the event is expected to attract the participation of Taekwondo athletes from 70 countries.
In 2017, Cambodia won a silver and four bronze medals from international Taekowndo competition hosted by North Korea.
