A Nearly-US$3 Million Garment Project Approved by CDC
AKP Phnom Penh, September 15, 2020 --
Logwood Apparel Co., Ltd., has recently got the green light from the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) to build a factory in Kandal Stung district, Kandal province.
The newly-approved project with a total investment capital of US$2.7 million covers the production of clothes and facemasks, according to a CDC’s press release.
The new investment project is expected to create 814 jobs for the locals, pointed out the same source.
Such investment amid the COVID-19 outbreak demonstrates confidence of foreign investors in Cambodia’s macroeconomic, political and social stability though threatened by the pandemic.
